Haven Ventures
—
I worked closely with the founders of Haven Ventures to establish their foundational brand and visual identity. The objective was to create a clear, differentiated presence as the firm prepared to pursue seed funding and build its venture portfolio. The resulting system emphasizes credibility and clarity, helping Haven stand apart in a competitive venture capital landscape.
Role: Visual Identity, Motion
Challenge
—
Haven Ventures needed a clear, credible brand identity as a newly founded firm entering a competitive venture capital landscape. The challenge was to establish trust and differentiation early on while building a visual system flexible enough to grow alongside the firm’s expanding portfolio. The identity draws from a blend of the founders’ Arabic heritage and a futuristicm technology aesthetic, evoking both cultural depth and the forward-thinking companies Haven invests in.
Solution
—
We developed a comprehensive brand identity system for Haven Ventures, including the logo, color palette, patterns, custom vector typeface, and brand guidelines. The system draws from Arabic architectural influences, paired with a contemporary technology-driven visual language. These references were intentionally refined and restrained, resulting in a modern, minimalist identity that feels credible, distinctive, and aligned with today’s venture landscape.
Results
—
This identity system helped shape the firm’s early pitch materials and set a consistent tone across investor presentations. Overall, these initiatives helped secure $65 million in initial capital for their venture portfolio.
We took inspiration from Islamic architecture, geometric patterns, and calligraphy. Madrasas, Arabic educational institutions were the foundation of the logo. The architecture itself is tall, strong, and stable; Both inviting and protecting: Traits we wanted the logo to have.
